Terms of Service

Effective 29 July 2026

Lets is an app for making spur-of-the-moment plans with your friends. It is operated by Proxigo LLC (“Proxigo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Lets, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. Who can use Lets

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lets. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it.

2. Your account

3. Plans are ephemeral

Feelers (invitations) and the messages around them expire at the time you set and are then permanently purged from our servers. That's a feature, not a bug โ€” but it means Lets is not a storage service. Don't rely on the app to keep a record of your plans or conversations.

4. Your content

You own the content you post โ€” your feelers, messages, and profile. So that the app can work, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content to the people you choose to share it with. This license ends when the content expires or is deleted. You're responsible for what you post and must have the right to share it.

5. Community rules

Lets is for making plans with people you actually want to see. Don't use it to:

You can block or report any user from their profile or from a feeler. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules โ€” with or without notice, at our discretion.

6. Meeting up in real life

Lets helps friends coordinate real-world meetups, but the meetups themselves are yours. We don't vet users, venues, or activities, and we are not a party to your plans. Use common sense: share exact locations only with people you trust, and remember the exact meeting spot is only revealed to people you've confirmed. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users and for anything that happens at a meetup.

7. Privacy

How we handle your information โ€” including location โ€” is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Third-party services

Lets uses Google Maps and Google Places for maps, directions, and location search. By using those features you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to the service

Lets is young and evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) at any time. Where a change is significant, we'll try to give reasonable notice.

10. Termination

You can stop using Lets and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 4, 6, and 11โ€“14 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

Lets is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content will be preserved (see section 3 โ€” it's designed not to be).

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proxigo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to the app โ€” including anything that happens at or because of a meetup arranged through it. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app is limited to US $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

If someone brings a claim against Proxigo because of your content or your violation of these terms, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing anything, please just email us โ€” most issues can be sorted out that way.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll notify you in the app. Continued use of Lets after a change means the updated terms apply.
